Aired 1957-11-08 (season 1, episode 6). In this episode of the Western series Trackdown, Hoby is surprisingly brutal. The crime scene he discovers at the beginning is probably the reason. This role did not suit Robert Culp-- he is unlikeable in it and tries too hard to act tough. He was better as the vulnerable character he played in Bonanza as Adam's friend.
Bad acting
Holby is the real big man
😂
Poor Rose did not realize her life began after that.
Constance Ford reminds me times
imagine sweeping the saloon floor with the hem of your dress... anf no 'spray n wash' to get it clean... wonder how they did it.
Bar Keeper is young Stewart Whitman later starred as US Marshall in Cimarron Strip tv series.
Lee Van Cleef before he aged here. Starting in acting. Superb career in westerns.
tv's 'captain midnight' was great as the sheriff!
This amazing series should be on DVD and doing insanely well in syndication. Too good a show just to be buried in the Hollywood vaults.
MeTV reran it a few years ago.
Sweet.
Every time baby loses especially mama, it is truly heartbreaking and arouse sadness, empathy and all the rest. In this case, baby is well taken care of by his or her aunt! Well thought out by the writer!
Duke Kincaid. Rated R
Esta era uma série boa de ver, quando puder você pode postar adventures of kit Carson law of boot hill? Este capítulo é com Lee van cleef que era fera em faroestes. 😊😊😊
I remember Constance Ford usually playing a woman emotional issues. Like in Theme from a Summer Place. Very attractive but lots of emotional baggage.
I find these series different from other western series... Beginning to enjoy these episodes
Walter Brennan was “ The Real McCoys” and would make no Bones about “No Brag just Fact!” Or was that Will Sonnett!
Good grief! Future Oscar nominee Stuart Whitman.
a very young stuart whitman there. & very handsome. he's in These Thousand Hills with don murray, richard egan, & lee remick. very good movie (western), if you get a chance to see it- on here.
The westerns...my favourite genre. But especially the older b/w tv series or movies. One particular that has more interest and I enjoy better than most is .. “Trackdown”... starring Robert Culp as Texas Ranger ‘Hobi Gillman.’ Interesting that in this role he is a lone ranger and not over done, for the most part he wins his conflicts with words and less use of his gun, he is under dressed, low voiced just as if he came out from the hills as a ranch hand. Simple rules and logic without the drama of the ‘Lone Ranger’, or ‘Walker Texas Ranger’. “Trackdown” also introduced many actors who later had fame in their own series, such as Michael Landon, Stuart Whitman, Lee Van Cleef and many others. “Trackdown” an underrated western of the fifties that is better than most. And a favourite of mine, to me the greatest American hero. ⚖️🇺🇸
No drink for him, Punch him bad. Hold him a good while.
You'd better pick her up she's kind of bruised. How come she didn't have a Smith and Wesson and all of its six dedicated little youngin' ?
Good TV show thank you for sharing
IN.GODS HOHSE CHURCH.
.GOD'S HOUSE AMEN .🙏🏿🤲🏽
Wow this happens in.real life .GOD SEES ALL AMEN🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏼🙏🏻🙏🏿🤲🏽🤲🏾AMEN.
Robert Culp acting was flawless. The way he spoke, his swagger. Made his performance, seemless. Quality Acting , whether in Westerns or Drama. His Acting with stands time. RIP , Mr Culp. I miss you.
Hoby. Gilman, Clay Hollister , Two of the Best T V Westerns and Two of the Best Actor Portrayal on Television. Undisputed!!!
James Griffith was an excellent actor and usually played a character on the wrong side of the law. James Best was actually a cousin of Phil and Don Everly.
George Keymas was a brilliant character actor who appeared in numerous TV westerns. Always enjoyed watching him in whatever he appeared in
Richard Webb grabbed another regular series role two-and-a-half years after this, as Deputy Chief Don Jagger on the short-lived Border Patrol.
God Bless you for posting this, I am so enamored with the old west shows. Just awesome, how in the H did I miss this growing up I do not know...thank you!!!
I love ducks ♡
Loved the old western shows, but never heard of this one. It's pretty good!
Double jeopardy. Foolish show.
I'm not sure double jeopardy applies when the accused bought off the witnesses lol
By
Ike should have got a pardon
Bad guy Rex reason
The visual quality seems rather poor.
I wish I could view this in at least 480p. My only options are 144p and 240p. It's pretty pixelated... But I'm still glad I can watch it!
She should've immediately been locked-up just for *threatening* to commit murder.
Uh 🙄 oh. I watched one that was very similar to the way this movie 🍿 The Tall Man 👨 is beginning to start off, with the father having taught his young son to hate Hobie Gilman.
Yes 👍🏻, I hope so too. It truly proves that money 💰 is the root of all evil 👿 👿👿👿
Soft hearted ♥️ Dobie Gilman. Bless you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️
Don’t forget that tall, handsome Cheyenne Bodie.
Lee Van Cleef was a COLD DUDE !!
Shep Wooly from Rawhide, the other Texas Ranger
Do not care for this episode.
Did not love that kid at all. Picked up the kid to travel with him in a life of crime. Never put the kid in school.
Throwing away the food. The beating of his life. Setting the cell on fire. The black solitary cell.
This was one of my favorite TV series in the late 1950s. I love Robert Culp! Thank you for posting this series.
